Ballpark Gates Open for Yankees Batting Practice
Updated: Aug 14, 2018
George M. Steinbrenner Field is officially opening 3 hours before game time (e.g. 1:05 p.m. game time, outfield gates open at 10:05 a.m.) so fans can experience the Yankees batting-practice action! The Outfield will be the only space open and the rest of the bowl opening two hours prior to game-time.

The 2017 season was a huge success with thousands of people flooding the gates 3 hours early to catch Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Gary Sanchez and more home-run balls around the BayCare 360 walkway. Fan interaction is what Spring Training is all about and we at GMS Field believe this is a tradition that needs to continue as we move into future Spring Training seasons.
