Making a difference in the Communityđź’™
As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the community service efforts of our minor league players here in Tampa. Throughout the year, players from the Tampa Tarpons and the Gulf Coast League volunteered more than 540 hours across 14 different charitable organizations. Their efforts included spending time with children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay, coloring and playing games with patients at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, walking dogs at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and delivering meals to homebound individuals through Meals on Wheels. Through these opportunities, our players have made a positive impact throughout the Tampa community, and we look forward to continuing these efforts and giving back in the year ahead.
